Grease a baking dish with butter. Lay out half of the phyllo dough in the dish, add the cooked sausage, then cover with the remaining phyllo dough.

Cut the pastry in the dish as desired. In a bowl, whisk together 1 cup milk, 1 egg, a pinch of salt, and black pepper. Pour this mixture evenly over the pastry, then bake in the oven right away until golden brown.
