Ingredients

1 hour 30 mins
4 servings
  1. 2 cupyellow split peas
  2. 1onion, chopped
  3. 1 tbspolive oil
  4. 1/2 cupfrozen green peas
  5. 1 cupfrozen peas and carrots (optional)

Steps

1 hour 30 mins
  1. 1

    Rinse split peas. Then boil for 5 minutes. And let sit for 1 hour in covered pot.

  2. 2

    Drain and rinse split peas. Add water to soup pot. Then add chopped onion, and olive oil. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 1-2 hours

  3. 3

    Add frozen peas at the last 5 minutes.
