Roast the sardines at low heat. Cool them down on a plate.

Prepare the sauce. Put the soy sauce, mirin and sugar in a pan and boil for a while. Add the sardines and mix with the sauce. Keep heating until the get sticky.

Spread them on a plate to cool down.
