Preheat oven 350°F. Grease and flour one 13×9×2, or two 9 inch round pans.

Stir together: sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Add eggs, milk, butter, and vanilla. Stir in boiling water. **Batter will be very thin**

Pour batter in prepared pan(s).

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until tooth pick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cool for 10 minutes. Remove from pans if desired. Cool completely.

Use Deep Dark Chocolate Frosting for double the chocolate.
