Steps

Take the Lotus stems bunch.

Peel the skin of Lotus stems and rinse them with cold water.

Cut them into thin slices.

Boil them with water and little salt. Don't over boil, less time =more crunchy.

Drain excess water. And prepare temparing. Take a pan, pour 2 tsp oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, red chillies,curry leaves,heeng and urad dal. Saute it well.

Add lotus stems and stir fry.Crunchy kamal kakdi ready.
