Boil the potatoes till slightly cooked

Slice the potatoes and onions and arrange them in a greased casserole dish

Sprinkle some salt and pepper and add on cheese followed by the fresh cream

You could put the cream in between the layers or only on top depending with what you like

Bake in oven at 180c till the cheese is melted and the top is golden brown.

Serve with stew and veg of your Choice
