Steps

Peel off and cut the gourds into cubes

Heat oil and temper cumin seed bay leaf and red chilli whole

Add Potatoes and saute well
- 4
Add gourd and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder
- 5
Now make a paste of ginger,tomato and cumin
- 6
Pour this into the pan and saute well adding red chilli Powder
- 7
Add water and cover,simmer till the Potatoes and gourd become soft
- 8
Finally add sugar and garam masala powder mix well
- 9
Serve it with rice
