Instant Handvo

Steps

In a mixing bowl oats, suji, besan, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.

Add curd mix well. Add water and mix it to a smooth thick batter with no lumps.

Add chopped onion, green chilli and green coriander.

Keep aside for 20-30 minutes.

Now before cooking handvo add baking soda.

Heat heavy bottom wok /tawa slow the flame add oil add mustard seeds and curry leaves when splutters pour the batter.

Cover it with a lid and let it cook on slow flame for few minutes.

After 2-3 minutes remove the lid turn it upside down.

Again cover and cook on low flame for few minutes.

This side also turn crispy golden.

Transfer into a serving plate and serve hot with chutney.
