Ingredients

  1. 2 cupmaida (refined flour)
  2. 1/2 cupbesan (gram flour)
  3. 1/4 CupRice flour
  4. 2 tbspsemolina
  5. 1/4 cupkasuri methi
  6. 2 tspcarom seeds
  7. 1 tspred chilli powder
  8. 1/2 tea spooncumin powder
  9. 1/4 tspBlack pepper powder
  10. 1/4 tspChaat masala
  11. to tasteSalt
  12. as neededwarm Water for making dough
  13. as neededOil for friying

  1. 1

    Mix all dry Ingredients in a big bowl. Now add 3Tb. Spoon. hot oil in flour mixture. Mix everything well.

    With the help of warm water make a stiff dough.

  3. 3

    Give rest for 15 minutes.

  4. 4

    Now make small size round balls with the dough.

  5. 5

    With the help of rolling pin, roll it into thick. Cut it big squre cut by cutter. Press it by fork.

  6. 6

    Heat the oil in a frying pan.

  7. 7

    Put 4-5 mathri in hot oil, deep fry on low till light brown.

  8. 8

    Crispy methi mathri is ready to be served.
