Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 poundslean ground beef
  • 2 tspgarlic
  • 1 canlight red kidney beans
  • 1 canblack beans
  • Large onion diced
  • 15 ozcan crushed tomatoes
  • 15 ozcan tomato sauce
  • 1 packageMcCormicks chili seasoning
  • 15 ozcan rotel original
  • to tasteSalt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoonvegetable oil
  • 1 cupwater

Steps

  1. 1

    Sauté ground beef in oil in the instant pot. Add onions and cook until translucent. Turn off sauté function. Drain excess fat.

  2. 2

    Add seasoning and mix through ground beef mixture along with a cup of water.

  3. 3

    Add in beans, salt and pepper and stir.

  4. 4

    Add rotel, diced tomatoes and tomato sauce on top. Do not mix.

  5. 5

    Secure instant pot lid and make sure the vent is sealed. Set on manual for 10 minutes then let pressure release naturally.
