Ingredients

  • 1 bunchpalak, washed and finely chopped
  • Besan or Gramflour as required
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1lemon juice
  • to tasteRed chilli powder
  • 1 pinchHeeng
  • as neededRefined oil

Steps

    Take a bowl or big vessel. In this add chopped palak, besan and spices. Mix it well by adding very little amount of water. Add water just to mix besan properly. Do not make the batter very runny or thick. Heat the oil in a wok. Now make ball shaped pakoras of the batter and deep fry them. Serve it hot with ketchup or chutney.
