Sesame Beetroot croquette

Sesame-Beetroot Croquette is a easy, colorful and healthy starter made from potato, soya granules, beetroot and aromat Indian spices. Crisp outside and soft inside.The combination of potato, soya granules and beets makes the inside soft, juicy and with an amazing flavour. All in all it is an appetizer which will be a treat for your eyes as well as for your tummy .

First boil the potatoes, roughly mash them and keep aside. Also, boil the beet root and grate it finely.

Add the bread slices to a mixer jar and grind into a dry powder.

Add the mashed potato, grated beetroot, soya granules, all spices, bread crumbs and ginger garlic paste into a large mixing bowl. Now, mix all the ingredients until well combined.

Spread the sesame seeds in a plate for coating and keep aside.

Now heat a pan with oil for shallow frying and set the flame to Medium.

While the oil is getting heated, take a small portion of the dough. Roll it into a log shape. Now roll the corner sides of prepared log into the sesame seeds as shown in picture.

Deep fry the croquettes until both the sides turn golden brown by flipping.

Once done remove from the oil and place in a paper towel to remove excess oil. Repeat the same with the other croquettes.

Enjoy hot with ketchup or any chutney.

Note
- Make sure your beetroot and potato are totally dry before mashing/grating.
