Soak saffron in milk for 20mins

Take pan and heat.Add khoya and stir for 5mins.Add sugar and stir again.

Mixture will become loose after adding sugar first.Keep stirring till it thickens.

Add saffron and mix.Add food colour also.Mix all well.

Now the mixture is thick add cardamom powder to the mixture & mix well.

Turn off gas and cool it.Put it in fridge for 30mins.

Take out and make a log kind of by rolling it.Cut into slices and keep on a plate.Now take peda mould or on palm shape it like pedas and keep.

On top sprinkle some chopped pistas and decorate.

Homemade Khoya Peda is ready for any festival or Puja.
