Ingredients

7-8 minutes
4 servings
  • 4 cupsmurmure(puff poha)
  • 4-5 tablespoonoil
  • 1 teaspoonmustard seeds
  • 1 teaspooncumin seeds
  • Pinchasafoetida
  • 3 tablespoonpeanuts
  • leavesFew curry
  • 3chopped green chillies
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoonred chilli powder
  • 2 teaspoonlemon juice
  • 3 tablespoonchopped coriander leaves
  • as requiredSpicy bundi or Sev
  • as requiredPomegranate seeds (optional)

Steps

7-8 minutes
  1. 1

    Soak murmure in water for 2 minutes and then strain it.

  2. 2

    In a pan heat oil, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds.

  3. 3

    When crackles add asafoetida and peanuts.

  4. 4

    Saute till peanuts turns crisp

  5. 5

    Add chopped green chillies and curry leaves.

  6. 6

    Add murmure and mix it.

  7. 7

    Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves.

  8. 8

    Mix well and cook for couple of minutes.

  9. 9

    Garnish with spicy bundi and pomegranate seeds. Enjoy hot.
