Mix salt and black pepper powder with the fish and marinate for 15 minutes.

Heat oil in a pan and fry it lightly. Keep aside.

Add ghee in the same oil.

Add bay leaf, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, whole dry red chilli for seasoning.

Now add onion paste, ginger-garlic paste, green chilli paste and fry for sometime.

Add curd, salt, sugar, cashew paste and 2 tbsp crushed khoya and stir for 1 minute.

Add milk and let it boil for sometime.

Add fried fish and simmer for a while.

Add fox nuts, rose essence and crushed khoya and turn off the gas.
