Ingredients

  1. 6Bread slices
  2. 1Boiled potato
  3. 1Shredded carrot
  4. 1/2 pieceShredded cabbage/lettuce of
  5. 1/2 cupBoiled peas
  6. 1 small cubeCheese crumbled
  7. 1Finely chopped onion
  8. To tasteSalt to taste .
  9. 1/4 tsppaprika powder
  10. 1Finely chopped green chilli
  11. 1/2 tspChat masala powder
  12. 1/4 tspRoasted cumin powder
  13. 2 pinchesThyme leaves crushed
  14. Fewcoriander/cilantro leaves
  15. As neededFortune oil for frying

Steps

  1. 1

    First of all mix all the boiled, mashed, shredded, crumbled, chopped veggies in a large mixing bowl.add all the spices along with salt and paprika.give a nice mix to combine everything very well.keep the mixture aside

    Take a big deep vessel and pour 1 glass full of water in it and set a Stainless Steel strainer over it..Flame on and let the water bring to a boil

  3. 3

    Take bread slices and trim out the edges with the help of scissor or a knife and lay down on Stainless Steel strainer to steam up the slices for about 2 minutes

  4. 4

    Take out the steamed bread slice from strainer and flatten it on a flattening surface with the help of a rolling pin go through the same flattening process with all steamed slices one by one and keep aside

  5. 5

    Mix refined flour/maida in 2-3 spoons of normal water without any lumps formed make a sticking paste/glue type consistency And keep aside

  6. 6

    Making of pockets: Take a steamed flattened bread slice, put a spoon of veggies mixture in the middle of the slice and brush the refined flour/maida solution at the edges of the slice..gently press the veggies mixture and start folding the bread slice giving the shape of a packet prepare all the veggies bread pockets with same process

    Heat oil in a deep non stick frying pan and fry all the pockets(in badges of 2-3 pieces at a time) in hot oil till golden brown..drain on an absorbent towel napkin to absorb the excess oil

    Your mix veggies bread pockets are ready for mini party

  9. 9

    Transfer in a bone china white plate and serve super hot with tomato ketchup and green chutney also for fantastic taste

  10. 10

    For long and big party arrangements increase the quantity of ingredients according the number of snacks u have to prepare and number of guests u invite(be careful about the proportion of veggies and spices while adding in the mixture for best taste and flavour)
