Lemon “meringue”tart

#summercoolerscontest. Lol so I had to make this dessert a couple of times to get it right for my taste. It’s summer and lemon is one of my favorite ingredients to use not only in desserts but in drinks and in marinades for fish or chicken.

Steps

Crush biscuits and mix with butter in a bowl.

Once combined paste into a sprayed baking tin and refrigerate until set.

In a bow add condensed milk and egg yolks and whisk until combined.

Whisk in lemon juice

Pour mixture into your biscuit crust.

In a separate clean bowl whisk egg whites with sugar until soft peaks. This takes about 20minutes😅

Pour the egg whites over the lemon filling and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 10 minutes and leave to cool or serve warm. I prefer it cold. Enjoy
