Ingredients

  • 2 cupsrice, soaked and cooked
  • 1chopped tomato
  • 1chopped capsicum
  • 1/2 cuppeas
  • 1boiled, peeled and cut potato
  • 1/2 cupgobhi florets
  • 1chopped carrot
  • 1/2 cupBeans
  • To tasteGreen chillies
  • As neededChopped coriander
  • 8-10Mint leaves
  • 1small piece ginger
  • 2 tbspgrated coconut
  • As neededOil
  • Salt as per taste
  • For biryani masala
  • 4black pepper
  • 1 tspjeera
  • 2 tspkhas khas
  • 1 tspsauf
  • stickCinnamon
  • 2cloves
  • 2Cardamom
  • 1dried red chilli
  • As neededCurry leaves
  • 2 tspkhada dhaniya

Steps

  1. 1

    In a pan, pour a tsp oil. Add every ingredient of biryani masala, ginger and coconut and roast at low flame.
    When it gives a good smell, add a little water and grind it to a paste.

    Blanch green peas, beans, gobhi.

  3. 3

    Heat oil in a pan. Add capsicum and carrots and saute for a minute. Add chopped tomato.
    Add the boiled veggies and mix well.

  4. 4

    Add masala paste and cook for a while. Then add chopped coriander, mint leaves and chopped green chillies. Sprinkle salt.

  5. 5

    Now add in the cooked rice and give a good mix. Serve hot the biryani with curd.
    (aise bhi kha saktein, it doesn't need any supplement😊)
