Steps

Pick and rinse chana daal well in running water

Soak the dal in enough water for 15 min

Add 2 teaspoon ghee in cooker

Add cumin seed,garlic,ginger to it and then add onion tomato and stir till it gets brown after that add all the masalas and stir till it leaves ghee

Drain daal and then add them to pressure cooker along with turmeric powder and pumpkin with 1/2 lt water and stir well
- 6
On high flame,pressure cook it for 6 whistles till the daal is well cooked or get soften
- 7
Daal kaddu is ready and serve it with chpati
