This is grates Irish potatoes fried in butter
Steps

Peel, wash and grate Irish potatoes and squeeze them in a clean towel to remove excess water and season with salt.

Heat pan with butter to shallow fry the seasoned Irish potatoes

Cover with a foil or lid as below and let it cook for 3-5 minutes

Turn the pan upside down to get the potatoes on the lid for easy turning over the uncooked side back to the pan
- 5
Return the uncooked side back to the pan and cover to let it cook for another 3-5minutes
- 6
Serve with scrambled eggs or eat without any accompaniment.
