Ingredients

30 minutes
6 servings
  • 6 slicesbread
  • 4 tablespoonsimli chutney
  • 4 tablespoonsgreen chutney
  • 1 teaspoongrated coconut
  • 1/2 teaspoonsalt or to taste
  • 1 cupbesan/gram flour
  • 2 pinchsugar
  • 1/2 cupcurd
  • 1/2 teaspoonfruit salt
  • 1/2 teaspoonred chilli powder
  • For tempering
  • 1 teaspoonMustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoonwhite til/sesame seeds
  • 10curry leaves
  • 1green chilli chopped

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Gather all the ingredients required

    First take bread cut edges, then roll flat very carefully with a rolling pin.

    Apply green chutney and imli ki chutney generously.

    Roll each bread slice carefully and tightly into a pinwheel and cut into half and keep aside.

    Take a mixing bowl and mix besan, curd, salt, sugar and fruit salt and water and make a thick paste.

    Meanwhile boil one glass of water in a steamer.

    Dip each roll in the besan batter and arrange on the greased perforated plate in the steamer.

    Cover with a lid and steam for 10 minutes on high flame turning them upside down after 5 minutes in between. It's done.

    For tempering
    Heat oil in a tadka pan, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, sesame seeds, green chilli.

    Arrange the prepared bread khaman on a platter, pour this tempering on the khaman, garnish with coconut and coriander leaves
    Serve with green chutney
