Ingredients

5 servings
  • Dough
  • Store bought dough
  • or
  • 3 cupsAll-purpose flour
  • 1 cupcold water or enough to make a firm dough
  • 1 teaspoonSalt
  • Filling
  • 500 gGround beef/ mince
  • 1quater of a small Cabbage
  • 1Onion
  • 1/2 teaspoonChilli flakes
  • 1teaspoonCoriander
  • 1 tablespoonCurry Powder
  • 1 teaspoonGinger powder
  • Salt
  • 1/2Green pepper
  • 1Carrot chopped into small pieces
  • Dip
  • Durky sauce or Sweet Chilli or Sweet and sour sauce

Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare your dough and set aside

    Cook the filling: sauté onions till golden brown add all seasoning, stir for few minute add mince, stir till mince is slightly brown, add cabbage, carrot and green pepper. Once cooked, set aside.

    Roll out your dough into small discs and scoop mince into the dough.

    Fold the dough to form small pockets. Heat your oil and then start deep frying.

    Once cooked, place it on the kitchen towel to drain all the cooking oil.

    Serve it with a sauce of your choice as a cocktail or as a starter.

    I had it with sweet chilli sauce hmmmm...Scrumptious🙌🙌🙌
