Steps

Clean your storage jar (glass is preferable) and let it dry completely. place a plate in the fridge to cool, for testing the consistency of the jam.

Clean the plums and half them. Remove the seeds as well. NB; you can peel them

Place them in a bowl and sprinkle in the sugar. Mix well and set aside. Let it sit for 30 minutes

Transfer to a heavy bottomed pan. Place on Fire and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.

When it starts to foam, stir and make sure all of it is boiling, not just one side. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Remove from fire and let it cool to room temperature, or warm to the touch.

Repeat step 5 UpTo 4 times or until you get the required consistency.

To test, place a bit of the jam on the cold plate and tilt it, it will show how flowy the jam will be when cooled.

Once done, pour the jam into your container, while still hot and cap. Let it cool and enjoy your spread.
