Rinse the red lentils thoroughly with water.

Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a pressure cooker.

Add the half stick of cinnamon and the green cardamom pod.

Add the chopped onion.

Add the 8 garlic cloves and sauté for 10 seconds.

Add the chopped tomato and sauté for 1 minute.

Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder.

Add 1 cup chopped carrots and 1 cup rinsed red lentils.

Mix everything well.

Add salt to taste.

Add water as needed, close the lid of the pressure cooker, and seal it.

Cook for 3 whistles.

Turn off the heat and let the lentils cool.

Transfer the lentil mixture to a blender and blend until smooth.

Heat a pan.

Pour the blended lentil mixture into the pan.
