Ingredients

  1. 200 gsugar
  2. 200 gbutter
  3. 4eggs
  4. 400 gself raising flour
  5. Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  6. Lemon essence

Steps

  1. 1

    Cream butter n sugar till light n fluffy.

  2. 2

    Add the eggs one at a time beating after each addition.

  3. 3

    Sift flour n fold inn

  4. 4

    Add the zest and juice

  5. 5

    Pour in a prepared tin and bake at 170℃ for 35-45 mins till a skewer inserted comes out clean

    Let it cool in a pan before decorating or slicing
