Coloured Sugar

White or brown sugar is one of the ingredients in cooking and baking. However, coloured sugar is not easy to find and I have previously ordered it online.

But today I decided to make my own coloured sugar.
I am super happy about the result. It is super easy and cheap to provide coloured sugar at home and you can store them for months.
You may use coloured sugar for decoration of cup cakes, cakes and fruits.

  2. 2

I do not mention the amounts of sugar or food colouring as you can add more food colour for more intense colour or add more sugar for brighter colour. So, Pour the sugar in the plastic bag. Add some drops of food colouring to the sugar.

In next stage, we should dry the sugar. I suggest 3 ways, and you can choose one of them.
    - Lay the coloured sugar out on a tray. It will dry in about 1 hour.
