I decided to try making my own cake for my kids' birthday parties. I experimented with several versions and finally settled on this one. It's super easy and delicious. You can adjust the amount of sweetened condensed milk to your taste. The chocolate glaze is optional. Good luck!!😀

  2. 1 packagedigestive biscuits
  3. 1small box wafer sticks
  4. 7 tablespoonsbutter (about 100 grams), maybe a bit more
  5. 3/4 cuphazelnuts (about 100 grams)
  6. Cream
  7. 1/2 cartonnon-dairy whipped topping or 1 small carton Morfat
  8. 1 packagecream cheese (like Philadelphia)
  9. 1/2 cansweetened condensed milk
  10. 1 packageOreo cookies
  11. Glaze
  12. 4 1/2 ounceschocolate (about 125 grams)
  13. 1/2 cupheavy cream (about 130 grams)
  14. 1 teaspoonbutter

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Crush the biscuits and hazelnuts in a food processor, then place them in a bowl. Break the wafer sticks by hand, add the melted butter, and mix until well combined. Press the mixture into a cake ring on a base to form a compact layer.

  2. 2

In another bowl, whip the non-dairy topping, then add the cream cheese, followed by the sweetened condensed milk, and finally the coarsely crushed Oreo cookies. Once the cream is ready, spread it over the biscuit base and refrigerate.

  3. 3

In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until just before boiling, then remove from heat. Add the chopped chocolate and butter, stirring continuously until smooth. If needed, return to low heat. Once slightly cooled, pour it over the cake and refrigerate again briefly. Decorate as desired.

  4. 4

Refrigerate for at least 6 hours before serving.
