  • 1/2 cupwheat germ, Haris
  • 1/2 chicken without skin, cut into small pieces
  • 1 chicken broth cubes
  • 2 carrots, peeled and chopped into small cubes
  • 1/2 cupfresh coriander, chopped
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • salt to taste

    Boil chicken pieces until well done, drain and reserve chicken broth.

  2. 2

    Boil haris using chicken broth; add water if needed, keep on medium heat for 20 min, until haris is cooked well.

  3. 3

    Then add chicken broth cube, carrots, black pepper, fresh coriander and chicken pieces to the haris and keep on low heat for 1 to 2 hours until soup is well blended, smooth and has a puree texture. You can add water if haris is too thick.
