Add coconut oil in pan, add onions and cook until browned

Add in minced ginger. Cook until browned

Add in garlic powder/fresh garlic, black pepper and cumin

Add in garam marsala, turmeric and coriander

Add in garam marsala, cayenne pepper. Stir to cook the spices and onions

Add tomatoes, cook until paste like, pour in coconut milk
- 7
Add precooked chickpeas, fry a few minutes and add more coconut milk
- 8
Allow to simmer. Add lemon juice, cilantro, cover and coom until gravy thickens
- 9
Serve with naan, chapati or rice
