Take a bowl of plain boiled rice. Make sure rice are cool then add the curd in it. The rice should neither be thick nor runny so you must be careful with it. You can add milk to adjust the consistency of curd rice.

For tempering heat up oil. Once heated add mustard seeds to it. Then add curry leaves and red dried chillies to it. Once the mustard seeds cracked and curry leaves change their colour then switch off the flame and add this tempering to the curd and rice mixture.

Your curd rice are ready. Serve them chilled.
