Pre heat oven to 175° and grease your baking device. Mash the ripe bananas. Okay to leave some lumps in there

Melt the butter and pour it into the mashed bananas and mix together

Add in baking soda and mix

Mix beaten egg and sugar and add in to the banana mix
- 5
Add in in vanilla essence then flour and mix till all the flour is mixed in. Batter will be a bit thick with some banana lumps and that's fine.

Place mix in your baking tin and place in the oven and bake for 55 minutes or until fork or tooth pick is clear if you stick it into the banana bread.
