Ingredients

  1. 8 ozbutter
  2. 8 ozsugar
  3. 8 ozflour
  4. 4eggs
  5. 1 cupmilk
  6. 1small tin pineapple rings
  7. Some glace cherries
  8. 2 tbspbrown sugar

Steps

  1. 1

    Beat the sugar & margarine till light & fluffy

  2. 2

    Add one egg at a time, beat well. Scrap off sides

  3. 3

    Add flour & milk in batches

  4. 4

    Add little of the pineapple syrup

  5. 5

    Take a loose bottom 8" tin. Line the bottom witj grease proof paper

  6. 6

    Sprinkle the sugar. Arrange the pineapple rings. Add cherries

  7. 7

    Bake in a pre heated oven@160°c for 50-55 mins, or till done.

  8. 8

    Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or custard
