Soak urad daal for 2-3 hours.

Grind soaked daal coarsely. Add onions, chilli and salt mix well.

Apply little water on palm and take small amount of mixture and press it flat. Can use cloth for preparing gare. Deep fry them in hot oil groundnut oil tastes best.

Serve with desi chicken kora. Serve hot with tea.
