The summer when I was graduated from high school, it was my first time to visit London.
One of the most favourite food in London is absolutely The Nando’s chicken.
Every time i pass by The Nando’s, the African style decoration was so attractive to me and the food was really really impressive. I like spicy food but I had never tried such special and fresh taste of chilli sauce since I met The Nando’s.
The peri-peri The taste of chilli was so unique. The balance of sour and spicy is so perfect. The soul of the Nando’s chicken, peri peri sauce, is definitely toxic and addictive.
I really miss Nando’s because it doesn’t have any branches in Hong Kong ( Here I strongly recommend the board of Nando’s to open a branch in Hong Kong.). The lacking of Nando’s in food paradise is totally unacceptable. = = The nearest Nando’s to me is located in Singapore. I tried it 2 years ago, It was as incredibly tasty as London.
Last week I found the sauce in supermarket. OMG, i finally can eat my Nando’s whenever I like at home.
It’s my first time to make Nando’s chicken. Thanks to the soul sauce and it taste not bad. Hope you’d like my recipe.

Prepare the main ingredients of the marinade.

Chopped the garlic, red onions and chillis. Then mix them in mortar and crush the spices.

Dry the coriander leafs with kitchen tissues before adding into the spices mix.

Mix the crushed spices with garlic sauce, lemon juice, peri-peri medium hot sauce and mayonnaise.

Add some salt, paprika, black pepper and oregano into the marinade mix.

Dry the chicken thighs with kitchen tissue. Slightly cut the surface to make the meat taste stronger. Baste the chicken thighs at marinade mix in the bowl. Then put it in the fridge for a night to make sure the taste is strong enough.

Pan-fry the marinate chicken thigh with medium heat. 15mins for each side.
