Ingredients

  1. 1corn cob
  2. 2 cupswater
  3. as requiredOil for frying
  4. as per tasteSalt
  5. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  6. 1/2 tspblack pepper powder
  7. 2 tbspoats powder
  8. 1onion finely chopped
  9. 1green chilli finely chopped
  10. 1 tbspcoriander leaves chopped
  11. 1lemon
  12. 1 tspchaat masala

Cooking Instructions

    Remove the corn kernels and put them in a saucepan with water and boil for 5 minutes. Drain the water and set it aside.

    In a bowl add the boiled corn kernels and add oats powder, red chilli, black pepper and mix well. Add 1 tsp of water and mix so that the oats powder gets coated around the corn properly.

    In a kadhai heat oil and add the corn kernels in batches and fry them on a low to medium flame till it turns golden brown.

    Put the fried corn in a bowl, add onions, coriander leaves, green chilli, chaat masala and squeeze some lime juice before serving.
