Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 cupssemolina (about 240 grams)
  2. 1 cupsugar (about 200 grams)
  3. 1/2 cupoil or ghee (about 120 ml)
  4. 2cardamom pods
  5. Some cashews and almonds
  6. Water
  7. For the poori:
  8. 2 cupsall-purpose flour (about 250 grams)
  9. 1 tablespoonsalt
  10. Oil for frying

    To make the halwa, heat oil in a pan, then add the semolina and roast on low heat until it turns slightly golden. Add water and mix well, then add sugar, cardamom, and the cashews and almonds. Cook until the halwa is ready.
