Ingredients

  • 1 cupgram flour
  • 1/4 cupwater
  • 1 teaspoonsugar
  • 6-7 teaspoonslemon juice
  • 1 teaspoonsalt
  • 3/4 tspbaking soda
  • 1 tablespoonrefined oil
  • 10-15curry leaves
  • 1 tablespoonmustard seeds
  • ForGarnishing:
  • 4-5sliced green chillies
  • 1 handfulcoriander leaves

Steps

  1. 1

    To prepare this dhokla take bowl and add gram flour, salt water,lemon juice and baking soda. Mix well all these ingredients. Allow the batter to ferment 15-20 mins. In the meantime,pour boiled water in steamer and grease with oil.

  2. 2

    Pour the dhokla batter in the until and cook on low flame 15-20 minutes.check with knife after 15 minutes inserting in side the dhokla. If the knife comes out the clean, remove from the stove. Allow to dish to cool and cut in to picess.

  3. 3

    For the tempering heat another pan with oil in it over the moderate flame. Ones the oil is hot, add mistress seeds,curry leaves, sliced green chilli. Add half cup of water and allow to boil 2-3boils, squeeze the 1/2 lemon add sugar and coriander leaves.

  4. 4

    Turn of the heat and pour tempering on the dhokla. Transfer the dish to a serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves. Try at home delicious snack.
