Steps

To prepare this delicious dessert, first wash rice and soak for 15-20 minutes. Then put a deep bottom pan on medium flame and add water to it.

Bring it to a boil and add soaked rice in it along with cloves. Let rice cook until they r tender and firm. When rice r cooked, drain water properly.

Now put a saucepan on medium flame and melt ghee in it. When the ghee is hot enough, add jaggery powder.

When jaggery has melted completely, add green cardamom powder along with cloves rice, mix rice well with melted jaggery, this will turn the colour of rice a little brown.

Now slow the flame and cover pan with a lid and let rice cook for about 5-8 minutes.

Garnish with flaked almonds and nuts of ur choice. Serve hot..
