Steps

Take all 5 types of dal wash it 3-4 times & soak it for 1 hour.

Then pressure cooker it 2-3 whistle with adding salt and oil. Pour it in bowl mix it well adding some water.

Take all the veggies and spices.

Take kadhai pour ghee warm it add jeera and crackle down.

Then add cinammon sticks and laung & red chilli in it. And add asafoetida.

Add curry leaves and ginger garlic paste saute it 30 sec.

Add onion &cook it till translucent.

Add tomatoes cook it well. Add salt in it.

Add all the spices. Mix it well & cook till ghee released from sides.

Now add dal. And add water (as required) approx. Boil it.

Cook it for 5 mins in medium flame.

Pour it in serving bowl. Garnish it with red chilli powder & hot ghee. Some coriander leaves and onions.
