Ingredients

  • 1 cupMoong dal
  • 1 cup Kala Channa
  • 1large - Beet
  • 1 Large Cucumber
  • 1 Large Tomato
  • 1Large Onion
  • 1 Small leafy green Cabbage
  • 1 Small leafy purple Cabbage
  • 1small green pepper
  • 1Lemon juice
  • As per tastePepper (ground)
  • as requiredSugar (ground)
  • as per tasteSalt
  • As requiredCilantro
  • to tasteChaat masala

Steps

  1. 1

    Pressure cook the beetroot for one whistle.

  2. 2

    Peel and cut it into long pieces.

  3. 3

    Cut cucumber, tomato, carrot, onion, green cabbage, purple cabbage, green pepper into long pieces.

  4. 4

    Place the vegetables into the bowl, spread the moong and chanasprouts.

  5. 5

    Add salt, sugar, lemon juice, ground pepper, chaat masala and toss.

  6. 6

    Garnish with cilantro.
