Mawa filled fried modak#ganesha
Steps

Add mawa in a heated pan. Stir continuously to avoid burning at the bottom. Roast the mawa for 3-4 minutes on a low flame till it turns light pink.

As the mava thickens add coconut powder. Add cardamom powder and mix well. Add chopped dry fruit s and mix well.

Turn the stove off and allow it to cool for 3-4 minutes. Transfer it into a bowl. Add powdered sugar and mix well and keep it aside.

Take maida in a mixing bowl.
Add ghee. Pinch if salt optional
Add water and knead it into a firm dough. - 5
Divide them into equal portions and roll them into flat balls between the palms.
Roll it into flat big pooris
Add a spoonful of the filling in the centre. Close the open ends of the dough upwards and seal it properly. - 6
Heat in a pan for frying.
Add the modak one after the other in the oil and fry them.
Flip them over and fry until they turn light brown.
Remove and serve. - 7
Instead of modak you can also make guiyas
