I have a picky 8yr old girl and I wanted her to try taco soup. My co-worker brought this for a potluck and I knew my picky girl will like it. I made it and it was a big hit. My husband loved it and asked me to make it often now. I know I have another Taco Soup receipe but this one is a bigger hit.

Ingredients

2 lbshamburger meat
2 cans (10 oz)rotel (I used 1 hot 1 original)
2 cans (10 oz)pinto beans
2 cans (10 oz)minestrone soup
Small block of Velvetta cheese (I used 16oz/1lb)
1 pkgtaco seasoning

Steps

Brown and drain the meat.

Add all the ingredients into a pot.

Add the cheese last and once the cheese ia melted its ready to eat.

Serve with Fritos chips and enjoy.

I work 45-60 hrs a week and I have 3 kids that are picky eaters. I'm looking to try receipes that are easy, fast and good that a family of 5 would love.

So did your picky 8 yr old eat it? Even 1 can of Rotel can make it too hot for me. I always buy the mild one, and usually store brand isn't as hot.
