Clean and smear little salt and 1 pinch turmeric to the fish.Set aside. Make a paste of sesame seeds, chopped coriander,2 green chillies and curd. Scraped coconut.

Heat oil and fry the fish golden brown. Unlike other fish which are cooked in mustard oil, this recipe is made in refined oil. Set aside the fried fish. Fry the ground paste with garlic paste and coconut lightly and arrange the fish carefully over the gravy as this is a delicate fish. Add salt and sugar to taste. Add water and boil for five minutes till gravy coats the fish. Garnish with chopped green chillies and coriander. Serve hot with rice.
