For Misal :
Rinse Moong sprouts well in water and drain completely. Keep aside.
In a pressure cooker, put these drained sprouts along with salt, turmeric powder and water.
Cook till 1-2 whistle over medium heat and keep aside. - 2
Next heat oil in a pan.
Add cumin seeds and allow to crackle. - 3
Next add finely chopped onion and saute till translucent.
Add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes off.
Then add turmeric powder, goda masala, salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and mix everything well. - 4
Add tomatoes and cook till they become mushy
Cook for 1-2 minutes till masala releases oil.
Now add tamarind pulp and the boiled sprouts. - 5
Give a nice mix and then add water (1-2 cup).
Allow to simmer for 10-12 minutes or until the desired consistency is reached. - 6
For serving
Cut the paav from the middle and butter them
Place paav on hot pan and let them be brown and crispy on low flame. - 7
Take misal in a bowl. Sprinkle some Farsan, chopped onions and coriander leaves for Garnish.

Squeeze some lemon juice and serve with buttered paav
