This bone broth is a highly nutritious one full of Vitamins and rich in Calcium. An amazingly yummy power packed food for the growing children and also the adults. This helps in the healthy development of children's mind and body. As this is fresh and without any stabilizing agents, it is more nutritious. Full of protiens and essential aminoacids which are actually the building blocks and are higher in this broth. It also relieves mild sore throat and cold in children. It also contains glucosamine and chondroitin which are essential protiens required for the growth of healthy joints in growing children. Bone broth also is a great source of nutrients like gelatin and collagen which are key in supporting and building the connective tissue in them. Happy and a healthy growing to all the lovely children out there !

Steps

45 minutes
  1. 1

Wash and clean these bones thoroughly and keep them aside.

  2. 2

In a pressure cooker, heat Ghee and add Bay leaves at first followed by all the Spices one by one. Add chopped onion along with the ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute or two.

  3. 3

Now add the bones as well as the green chillies, coriander leaves and the turmeric powder. Mix well and pressure cook for 10-12 whistles. Don't forget to add water to it before placing the lid.

  4. 4

After the pressure settles down, open the lid and allow it to cook for 15-20 minutes more. Adjust water quantity if you need to at this point but add hot water only if necessary. The consistency depends upon one's own choice.

  5. 5

This tastes heaven when slow cooked for nearly 2 hours. This was what my grandma did but I do not that everytime. I do follow it but also pressure cook this just as I did today. It tastes awesome this way too. Try in whichever way you want to and relish this nutritious Soup with your loved ones atleast once a month.

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
