Sift your flour,baking power,soda and cocoa powder into a bowl and set aside.

Cream sugar,butter and vanilla until creamy

Beat in your eggs

Alternatively add in flour mixture and milk 3 times and mix until smooth

Grease your pan and pour in batter

Bake until a tooth pick inserted comes out clean

Allow to cool in the pan for 15 minutes then turn onto a wire rack and allow to completely cool

Slice and serve with whipped or buttercream
