Chicken Masala (In Odia it's Kassa)

Wash chicken properly, keep aside add half teaspoon salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder

Take a pan, heat it well, add cardamom, cloves, bay leaf, cinnamon sticks, peppercorns, saute for 30 seconds, add sliced onions saute till it colour changes to brown. Add ginger garlic paste and cook on low flame, add Chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, tomatoes finely chopped, and cook for 15-20 min.close the vessel.

Open the vessel and add marinated chicken, mix well, close the vessel for 15-20 min, stir it occasionally so that it won't stick.

Add garam masala to the top after switching off the flame. Don't open the vessel.

Serve hot and garnish with coriander leaves.
