Pound the cutlet as thin as possible.

Place the slice of ham on top of the cutlet.

Add the piece of cheese on top (make sure it's not too large so you can roll the cutlet around it).

Roll everything up as tightly as possible.

Bake at 350°F (180°C) for about 10 minutes, until the cutlet is cooked through.

Remove from the oven, dip in the beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.

Heat oil in a skillet.

Fry the roll in the hot oil for a few minutes on each side until golden brown.

Blot excess oil with a paper towel (be careful not to burn yourself). Serve immediately.
