Ingredients

  • 3 cansblack beans 15oz
  • 1 cancrushed tomatoes 15oz
  • 1onion chopped, diced
  • 1/4of a jalapeno pepper, chopped
  • 3 clovesgarlic chopped
  • 2 Tolive oil
  • 1 Teaspooncumin
  • 1/2 teaspoonchipotle pepper powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonbasil

Steps

  1. 1

    Saute onions, garlic, jalapeno

  2. 2

    Blend two cans and liquid of black beans until smooth pasty

  3. 3

    When onions are softened add all ingredients together

  4. 4

    Simmer 15 minutes, salt to taste

  5. 5

    Serve with toppings, scallions, chips, sour cream, cheese, avacado
