Ingredients

  1. 2 lbmild ot hot italian sausage
  2. 3carrots peeled and chopped
  3. 1onion peeled and chopped
  4. 4Clove's garlic peeled and chopped
  5. 3 Qtchicken broth
  6. 2 cans (14.5 oz)diced tomatoes
  7. 2 cans (14.5 oz)cannelinni beans or white beans
  8. 1 Tablespoondried basil
  9. 2 cupsshell pasta
  10. 4 qtspinach leaves (roughly 13oz)
  11. Salt, pepper, parmesan

Steps

  1. 1

    Brown the sausage

  2. 2

    Add onions, garlic​, carrots and cook until onion is translucent

  3. 3

    Add broth, tomatoes w/ juice, beans w/juice and basil

  4. 4

    Bring to a boil

  5. 5

    Add shells and simmer until shells are ready.

  6. 6

    Stir in spinach, salt and pepper to taste. Top with parmesan.
